PRACTICE & HEALING —

Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is an ancient mystical practice that balances the body and nervous system, offering deep relaxation and meditation with specific intention usually incorporating mantra, whether spoken or sung.

It supports healing regardless of whether you’re seeking an awakening or simply want a powerful, positive influence on your own healing journey. Many people use it as a stable, grounding daily discipline, a way of staying connected to their own body and energy field over a lifetime.

What makes it distinct

Unlike many physical yoga styles, Kundalini Yoga works with breath, movement, sound, and meditation together. Sets of exercises called kriyas are sequenced to produce a particular effect: calming the nervous system, building resilience, opening the heart, or clearing energetic stagnation.

The addition of mantra — repeating sacred sounds or words, silently or aloud — is central to the practice. The physiological effects of rhythmic sound repetition are well-documented. The practice is accessible at any age or fitness level. What matters is a willingness to be present in your body and to work with your breath.
